Setting up the Remote:
At the time of shipping, the remote has not been customized to your receiver
yet. Before you use the remote for the first time, do the procedure below to
set up the remote so that it can control your receiver properly.
1. Press Standby on the receiver to turn it on.
2. Point the remote towards the receiver and press SOUND FIELD, FUNCTION
or SUB. In the top left of the screen of the remote will be shown two images
while it communicates with the receiver and identifies the model.
When the command ends, the remote is customized and provides the operation
lists that match your receiver.
All used remotes are tested with an infrared fob tester/Bluetooth receiver or with a
compatible device and operate as intended. They are also cleaned and sanitised.
Batteries are not included. You will require 3 x AA batteries to operate Genuine Sony RM-LJ304 STR-DB940 STR-DE945 AV Receiver Remote.
This is a used remote with signs of use.
